I dunno if you already know it but there is a good anticheat program ScreenSender Mutator (http://gearsforums.epicgames.com/showthread.php?t=602436) that helps you find the cheaters quite well.
This mutator takes screenshots of the players, on the clients' side. That means that what is displayed on the screeny is what players see from their home.
The goal is to find wallhackers easily for instance, which is much harder to see on a demo.
It would be a great way to find cheaters but there is one problem - each time a screenshot is taken, it lags pretty much for the player and that can become kinda unplayable when the player's being screenshoted.
Otherwise it's a very interesting mutator and that'd be really good to add it on your server.

You just gotta reduce the screen capture resolution size, make it take B/W pictures, and it'll just cause a minimum of lag. Renaming the mutator to something like totallyharmlessunimportant-mutator also helps.

I don't think anyone uses wallhack in vCTF, but I know some ppl in TAM who use them, mwhaha they will be so pwnd :D

It can even be someone you couln't even suspect.It's prolly true but what's the point in cheating in VCTF (and in cheating at all tbh)? :D Wallhax just to see where is the flag, or aimbot or something? Easy to recognize an aimbot from spec, so I don't think anyone uses it atm. But wallhax is possible, I just dno what's the point in that =] In TAM it's clear: always see where ur opponents are, and their HP, and it's hard to detect, cuz you can say if they ask you how did you know he's there, by saying "I hear you". Ia ctually know some players in TAM who use wallhax, just don't wanna sy names here :P But in vCTF? lmao, chaos in sounds, tank shells, announcer, scorpions, mantas everywhere, so it's hard to hear and there aren't many hiding spots, with some map knowlegde you will find the flag carrier sooner or later :) But I believe, there are some ppl who seea point in this, as I know this community :D

Tbh,I hate wallhackers more than aimbotters, because wallhax are so damn hard to find out about. Very annoying, because people play compedativly with wallhax on, people will know that you use wallhax, but there's nothing anyone can do about it, because it's so hard to prove.

w00t ! i can't play vCTF without sounds at all ! every little mantasound in the other base calling someone to sit on a manta, a tank starting up its engine, a bender/scorp approacing, a flag carrier running etc ALL are important sounds and i listen all of them all the time ! vCTF sounds aren't spam, they are very important to know where the enemy is or what your teammates are doing. It's reaaaaaaaaly annoying when someone starts to blabble in the Teamspeak with a mic - it kills all the gamesounds.. and VM should disable that crap :P

I dunno, sounds can be important for things like hearing tanks and deemers and vehicles, but I find it almost impossible to hear people like I normally would in tam or 1on1 dm, plus, there is quite alot of white noise in vctf, which I find irritating.
Anyway, sort of have a way around it, I have three different audio changing binds:
NumPad1=set ALAudio.ALAudioSubsystem SoundVolume 1.0|set ALAudio.ALAudioSubsystem Rolloff 0.4 # 1on1 DM sound
NumPad2=set ALAudio.ALAudioSubsystem SoundVolume 0.4 #TAM/vCTF war
NumPad3=set ALAudio.ALAudioSubsystem SoundVolume 0.1 #vCTF public

LMAO I also have these binds on Numpad 1, 2, 3. For TAM and 1v1 I use 0.3, for eveyrthing else I use 0.4 (mainly TDM and vCTF). I always play vCTF with music (except wars ofc) and zounds turned off. I found them very annoying and childish, when some1 keeps writing "cards" or "ohfuck" or something.
Btw wallhack isn't that hard to find out. On FFM and Core there are lots of them. You have to know that most wallhack stuffs also show your HP to your opponent. here's an example with guy on FFM who plays there every day, and obiviously uses wh. On Deck17 I was camping top as always ( :D ), round began, somehow I got 3 roxed from another guy (not the wallhacker one) in the face, but survived. So I went top with 3 hp and started sniping from there. Everyone was alive form both teams, so the guy couldn't tell his mates that I'm now (I don't think he knew he him me tho, cuz the hitsounds only work if your opponent is close, or if you see you hit him). The wallhacker guy used mini secondary to execote me from the bottom corridor while I was on top. Only a n00b would do that if he doesn't know I'm low... This wasn't the only situation, he obiviously knows me hp everytime, others also confirmed that. Time to catch that wAnk3R.

Yeah, in a public game, there is a chance of you knowing that he's a wallhacker, but it's quite difficult to know if there's wallhackers in compeditive play, for instance, the 1v1 dm and tam player BeaR. Everyone knows that he wallhacks, but there's no way to prove it to CB or UTAN, so he can still play compeditivly using his wallhax :<. It could easily be proven using the screensender mutator, but nobody has done that yet, so yeah...

The screensender-mutator just takes random samples - 'cause of the unfair lag it creates for the players and stuff. If the cheater's got some brains, he'll just turn his hacks on in an important situation and will deactivate right after anyway. AntiTCC and Safegame are basically pointless but with the screensender there's at least a glimpse of hope.

I believe there is an anti screensender hax that fakes a screen already^^^
(e.g. removes bot hud, takes screen, replaces hud or something)
Anti-tcc still catches people :-) 20 ish bans from it i think for aimboting

LMAO nuubs4life. Haven't thought they are cheating tbh. About uG I can believe anything, but I could also name full clans using wallhax.
