utcomp scoreboard shows only 16 players even if 20 are playing

I'd say, use epic scoreboard as default one, but give us the option to use the utcomp scoreboard as well... (which has to be manually configured by each player through mymenu>misc...)

yes i aggree, however in the utcomp ini (no option for this in webadmin) this entry exists "bEnableScoreboard=True".
True = every one can see utcomp scoreboard and can turn it off in misc
False = standard epic scoreboard and turning on the utcomp scoreboard in misc does nothing.

this is what happened in testing on server 2

please someone correct me if im wrong as i would like to be in this case :D

Since we aren't using Anti-TCC anymore, maybe we can test on server2 if the latest beta-version of utcomp still has this problem? Or is this a bad idea?<br>

I love the epic scoreboard, it's just much more neat :) and dosn't have all the stupid bugs and when you log on as admin is puts a big bold ADMIN in red :) not just a dodgy admin at the end of your name in the colour of the last letter in your name o.0 epic scoreboard ftw! :D

Let users sellevet which scoreboardt to use. They can just disable it in UTCOMP menu if they dont like. Perosnally, i prefer UTCOMP scoreboard, its more informatife (for example, shows all teammates zone location, its crucial in gametypes such as CTF, VCTF or JB

Man i hate this epic (failing) scoreboard so much :/ at some resolutions the names become unreadable. especially when some characters are used in names or just ones that are very long. can we has utcomp back pl0x!?. besides the bottom feeding players(who cares bout them) are often kicked by a VM joining anyway...

maby you can do it like netcode. enable it but make an uam message saying how to disbale it?

Agreed, enable UTComp enhanced scoreboard, bottom feeders = #care. And if you're interested watching their awesome score, then you can turn UTcomp scoreboard off anytime at UTComp menu (gyk: F5) ;) Also, UTcomp scoreboard shows kills / deaths, and the difference. So you can see hwo did the player got his score ;P In TDM UTC scoreboard is a must have, and also very sueful in vctf imo. Let everyone choose which one they use, they can turn it off anytime, if they wanna see the epic one.

Hmm... didn't notice that the utcomp scoreboard was disabled... was sure I used it a few days ago, but that may have been hax as I was playing on a UTComp server before hand.

I have always and will always prefer utcomp, to bring back this discussion. Maybe Nova can do something useful for a change and fix the utcomp scoreboard with his nerdy mad skills? ;)

He'd need the sourcecode for utcomp or something, probably. Anyway, enable utcomp, I suppose, cause with it enabled you have the choice of it being on or off :>.

lol @ this topic. Is that such a big effort to enable it? If everyone can choose what does he prefer, if he knows where is F5 on his keyboard? Not like I really care about it, but still lol.
