Summary: 25-17 but i say draw, it was a good game (except higher ping and lags :D /please never forgot that netcode can't fix ping/latency (also P/L) and this means of a result of wrong movement, ignored/delayed shoot from my side, and teleporting shoots to your face because it is sucks for you too :D /

with utcomps netcode... its very dependant on the 70ping barrier, over 70 u can hit real good and are hard to hit. under 70 and u are easy to hit but can aim without a noticeable lag, and weapons dont timewarp like they do with 50-70 ping and more, basically dont play 1on1 with netcode on just find a equal ping server:-)

1on1-s gives me a vision about the skills and gameplay of a player/clan, this is why i'm doing this.

In the far-far past i played against a hungarian-only ONS clan in 1on1, no one cluld beat me... they said that they are good in ONS, well okay then ONS-Primeval 3on3, there i see that they was the same weak players as in the 1on1 game too. The final map was ONS-ArticStronghold, well here i couldn't win so easy, because it was hard to keep the noob team to work together, but it was hopeless... so i left them, and started to look for a vCTF clan.

Well in the last few days i was inactive... in these days i thinked a lot, on that what i will do and what i did. Before i join (or not) i need to write these lines, it will be long...
I read back the entire topic, what i did in the past half year, and what i did in the last few weeks. The conclusion is that i forgot why i wanna be here, my original target with the 1on1-s is that i meet much more with the people. But i forgot someting. I forgot sometime the respect, and i was arogant by always "flam"-ing that i shifted that nobody defeated me. Now that when i thinked on this, and read back the topic now i realy (and realy) understand this:

vCTF is a funny gametype, as I see you don't need any TAM skills to be an attacker here, I agree that (since some guys can't hit a wall but they take the 100 shield, collect 100 adrenaline and they get away easily with speed and/or drive manta all the time ^^). However you need some skills if you wanna defend or play midfield (some people call these "camping", "playing TDM" or so). People spam a lot in vCTF, some of them use only rocket/minigun/etc. What should I do then? Ofcourse don't let them come close and spam my ass I'll snipe them :) This works really well on Redrooms for example. Once I tested what can I do if I crouch in the same place all the time, only go for weapons and my flag. And R4WFuLz, I had highest score, with like 20 flag returns and 60-70 kills in the end, enemy couldnt score at all we won the match, it's just a random example, 1 of the 1000 ones. So it's useful if you have aim (I can kill manta with shock/lg with 100% effinency, even the best drivers like Tango since I've got my new config - except if I don't see and hear the manta cause of music ^^ ) Playing midfield is also important (that's the thing which is called DM or instagib by n00bs ^^ ). You can support your attackers, block enemy attacks in the beginning, pick up and time their powerups, so they won't be able to attack with shield / amp or so (this is the TDM part in it, but very useful don't tell me it isn't :P ). If they are spamming don't let them come close again, and you've won! I prefer mid/def cause I rather kill than run with a flag, more fun for me :) .

In TAM if you have good aim it isn't enough to become a decent player. You also need to know what to do when your teammates are low, when you are alone vs more guys, and yeah you have to know how to spam. But in vCTF playing without spam if more easy and it's a lot of fun, no point in shooting rockets for a player who stands on the top of a tower, for example (most people will disagree me in this, but I prefer headshot ^^).

I, personally, think you're a genius. A brilliant guy that's grown up alongside the wrong people and you didn't get the education or other things you needed. It fucks you up. I got lucky, found my way and I'm still finding it. Only way I can cope is not to give a shit about the world. And with Krav and Marie we have much better relationship today as it was in the days when you were in the clan. It's not about handling it, it's about dealing with it. I know you're gonna get pissed and annoyed, but it's about accepting it in the end. 99% of the time you've got a good point, and when you tell us we do understand, but we've got our own feelings about things as well, and 99% of the time those differ. Thing is, the American Psychological Association have been literally inventing mental disorders by the hundreds, in the 1950s there were something like 8 listed in the DSM manual I think. But now it's grown to 300 and so many daft criteria that to be honest they can apply to anyone. It's become more a listing of personality types/difficulties that people may experience at particular points in life than anything else. Often one likes to think that somehow something is determined to be a disorder through some God-like decision making but really it's a bunch of idiots using pseudo-science to conclude that something appears "abnormal" in their view, and thus, it is a mental illness...

Basically it's just a labelling process... If you wanna find a label for yourself then maybe you will like it, who knows, maybe you can use the whole idea of mental illness to find other people with similar personalites/problems. On the other hand, if it depresses you to have a label then just accept that psychologists are a bunch of cock-sucking morons (to be honest).

Also beware that this stuff has a much more sinister side to it as well since once the government have got one of their psychiatrists to give you a label then they quite like using mental health sectioning etc to lock you up or prevent you from getting certain jobs etc.... Look. First of all we're europeans and not americans. Our mind and our thinking methood are totally different.
We, europeans are NOT care about different kind of problems if it not comes from a virus (ex. the nowadays so cool swine flu, or the not-cool-anymore bird flu, but back to my point). In europe we accept a mental sickness only, when it is extremely serious (ex. down sindrome (may inproper translation)), and when you can see the person's face, that he mentally sick.

But! In the "wonderful america" how this goes? Look first of all you may not belive, but if you across teir border example via an airplane, then the first thing that you go to talk with a person, who ask general thing, like name, birth date, age, where you come, and why you comed to america.
But what you don't know is that person who you're talking is an experienced psyc! If you lie to him, or if he just look into your eyes and he see that nothing good with you, then he detects it, and call the guards!

I don't know where you get the idea that in America people care for one another... They don't have free healthcare. Something like 50 million Americans don't have health insurance. They have an enormous prison population which is the result of handing out draconian sentences for stupid crimes and also having an appauling social security system. If you can't get a new job eventually your social security benefits are taken away and then you have to turn to crime if you're to survive. On top of that their mental health services aren't purely there to 'help' people, they are also there to forcefully inject people with drugs, subject them to various strange treatment programs etc when they have been sentenced on mental health grounds. Also, on top of this, as some would argue, the US have extremely long working hours, they are the longest of any other industrialised country and I think that contributes to mental health problems as well.

Now this is bollox. Belive it or not, american people are intelligent, and they know about their system defectivities. These restrictions does not applies at all. They restrict you from do something when they know that it can cause your death. For example if you fear in high areas, then they restrict you to do some jobs for your own safety. In Hungary? People fuck it, and they force you to go to the top level of the building and they don't care if you fall down.

The US have extremely long working hours and extremely long pauses during your work. Lunchtime is typically an hour. Also Chinese and Japan people has way much longer working hours. As for the US, i may call it average, and don't forgot that their working moral is typically good (compared to Hungary, where the working moral is horrible).

I dunno about visit fees but the main problem is cost running into 10s of thousands of dollars for medical operations if you don't have insurance cover. About crime. Crime in the USA it is not so high as some people suspect it, of course there are called "getto" but witch country does not have poor and rich areas?It's true it's not totally through the roof - many poorer countries have higher murder rates for example. But it is high compared to other industrialised countries.

Now this is bollox. Belive it or not, american people are intelligent, and they know about their system defectivities. These restrictions does not applies at all. They restrict you from do something when they know that it can cause your death. For example if you fear in high areas, then they restrict you to do some jobs for your own safety. In Hungary? People fuck it, and they force you to go to the top level of the building and they don't care if you fall down.No they can actually detain you and forcefeed you drugs :p If you've not seen the film "One Flew Over The Cuckoos Nest" then you should see it, it's an absolute classic. I bet you that if you ask an American how many people died in the vietnam war they would give you the 60,000 figure or not know. 60,000 is how many US troops died in the vietnam war, in reality, they systematically exterminated 2 million vietnamese and I think that's the lower estimate... In America they complain about the World Trade Center bombings, in which only 3000 Americans died, a miniscule number compared to the 16,000 ppl who are murdered in the US every year, and the 2.3 million people currently in prison there. They then used that as an excuse to wage war against Afghanistan and Iraq in which hundreds of thousands of Afghans and Iraqis perished, yet again, the media only report on the few hundred US soldiers killed. The war on drugs for example has killed thousands of people and left millions in prison. On top of this their claims that heroin is a terribly harmful drug is largely untrue, in reality, only smuggled heroin is particularly dangerous because it often has HIV in it and isn't produced in a safe way, the heroin itself isn't very harmful. But ask any American (or even any european), and they will say heroin is a really dangerous drug :p Heck, in the State of Maine it's even illegal to look at a child! (they call it Visual Sexual Aggression of a minor, which in plain english means looking at a child...)

My point: America is a mediocracy. Americans aren't intelligent because they live in ignorance of what their country and their government really do.

The US have extremely long working hours and extremely long pauses during your work. Lunchtime is typically an hour. Also Chinese and Japan people has way much longer working hours. As for the US, i may call it average, and don't forgot that their working moral is typically good (compared to Hungary, where the working moral is horrible).No... I read that the UK now has longer working hours than Japan and the US has longer working hours than both :p Things have really changed a lot over a few years...

About drugs. The media say it is a bad thing. Just as I. If you watch deeply the happenings, then you can see that tobaco will be banned soon. Nowadays it is just limited in many ways.

Look. In life, many thing can lead to dependences, such as drugs, smoking, alcohol, computer games, television, unlimited eating, sex, etc. Nowadays humanity try to draw that invisible line what says witch dependences are too harmful to us. Like drugs, for smoking people say that it is harmful too, because it has no advantages only disadvantages. I say smoking are way worser instead of using lightweight drugs, but both of them - in general - has mainly disadvantages only.

Not just the US fight against drugs, the EU does it too. In the US Mexico is the main import area, while in the EU, most of drugs Hungary is the main import area. But while Mexico produces it, in Hungary it is only a travelling line.
So don't say drugs cause crime in the US if it is fully applies to the EU too (except Netherland).

Hungary has NO free health care. I pay 8.5% of my salary each month for my health care as a tax. In the US i guess they not pay it as a tax, they pay it on different way, it is their problem (if it is a problem), solve whatever they want.

Ultraweb.hu (uw.hu) is the most stable image host site, even if it is fucking slow. Trust me, it is slow for me too, average downspeed is 20-30Kbytes/sec and i often link megabyte sized compressed looseless images witch loads fucking slow for me too, but it is stable!

If i start uploading from my secondary host site (extra.hu) then it will be fast (approx. 150-180KB/sec downstream) but it does not has as big stability as uw.hu plus that site is banned or blocked by a few international ISP.

But in any case searcher droids, such as google will not gona look into my files, so i will use hungarian hosting sites at all costs. I not gona use crappy shit international hosting sites, witch re-compress and indexes my images for fucking google.

The point with drugs is that it's a matter of personal choice, sometimes like with all things they might be bad for you, other times they are just a good bit of harmless fun and other times they are actually good for you, e.g. marijuana can used for taking away pain. But fundamentally the US actually kill and murder people to stop drugs. At the end of the day one has to ask, who is the victim?

Is it 'society' because of the crime drug addicts commit? Well, no it's not because the war on drugs has actually created crime because drug prices are so high so people have to committ crime to feed their drug habits, if drugs were legal then drugs would be very cheap and so ppl could afford them easily.

Is it the drug users themselves who are victims of the evil drug dealers? Well, the US doesn't seem to think so. They don't just prosecute people for dealing drugs, sentences in the US can be so extreme that they actually were handing out life sentences as a mandatory MINIMUM for mere possession of cocaine.

If you look at it the UN wants all member states to ban drugs and so individual governments have difficulty pulling out of the war on drugs. And of course the US has been hugely influential in the UN. But most importantly although the EU have a war on drugs as well, the sentences are MUCH less severe!

As you mentioned the netherlands does not have a major drug problem yet they do not lock people up for possessing or dealing so-called "softcore" drugs. Netherlands ranks 7th in europe for drug use, so that pretty much shows the war on drugs causes more harm than good. There have been reports made to the UN which have also conceded this...

As for healthcare, yes it is not free in that sense, but the idea is that everyone pays for healthcare based on their means. So if you're super-rich you will pay a lot for healthcare, however, if you are poor and have just lost your job and been diagnosed with cancer you pay nothing at all :p In the US, you would just be left to die.

@Danny: You need look no further than history - drugs were completely legal in I think all countries? Until the early 20th century. To be honest a lot of the aristocracy were hooked on Opium and such but that didn't stop many poets from writing great poems or great philosophers or scientists or the economy moving forward generally :P

So? In the past people used Pb cups (sorry chemical simbol is what i know correctly about this material) because they thinked that's cool... and it slowly killed them. Nowadays people smoke, and it kill them too, because people are too stupid. Similar about drugs.
But also not all kind of depedencies has negative effects only. Example computer games increase adrenaline level in the first few times when you play a game, and not the game itself cause the depedency, your body's own adrenaline cause it. No harmfull effect! And this is a main difference between two kind of depedencies. If you smoke, then it is nothing more than harmfull effect witch force you to smoke more. Compared to computer games, every time the game will loose it's adrenaline increaser effect, and by time the person will not depend on the game anymore. But tobaco? You will smoke it until the end of your life.
And this is what people always forget, that depending on something is not always bad. Smoking? Bad. Drugs? Bad. Computer games? Good. Alcohol? Good or bad. Coffee? Good and bad. Sex? Guess.

In the other hands, it is part of the human being that to learn self-control. Things as i said above categorized as "good" or "bad" is depending on this too. For example if you let people smoke, then they will loose their self control about it. Soo... To conclude: You want all your roommates to be in prison getting butt raped instead?

You're right to say that in general smoking will have a bad effect on ones health (smoking over a prolonged period of time is very likely to cause lung cancer in the end), but you are wrong to say that putting people in prison is a reasonable response to that IMO.

BTW I'd be interested where you get the idea that tobacco will soon be criminalised too because I don't think it will be. The global economy is collapsing and in particular America's time as an economic superpower is likely to be over. Part of the reason (there are many reasons) for America's demise will be it's punitive and costly approach to criminal justice. If they criminalised tobacco it would cost them even more and I don't think creating more criminal sanctions for drugs is at the top of Obama's agenda (infact, I think he wanted to soften their approach up a BIT, not much, though). And, well, truth is, they just can't afford to lock up more people, infact, if things get bad enough they'll have to start releasing them, and, in an economy with few jobs and with criminals having no chance of getting those jobs due to their past records they'll turn to what America's training camps (i.e. prisons) taught them best - crime. Incidentally I just heard that Mexico is now going to push for legislation to legalise possession (but not distribution) of drugs!!!

One last point, it's rather ironic that tobacco is legal and other drugs are not. In particular I mentioned that heroin is not really a harmful drug, I get the impression it is probably less harmful than any drug that you smoke because it's not carcinagenic! I doubt that if you say, legalised marijuana, that 25% of Americans who currently smoke would jump to 50% or 75% etc...

Drugs should be licenced (spent 10 minutes wondering if it was licenced or licensed btw) in my humble opinion - alcohol included. It would make all purchases traceable to the buyer (the civilian, not the licenced drug seller of this scenario), very strongly discouraging the selling on groups who are allowed to buy drugs (eg. people who fail to meet certain criteria such as the drugs causing adverse medical sideeffects or something). As far as I can see, modern governments' jobs are to protect the people primarily from foreign dangers, and secondarily from domestic ones (basically protecting people from themselves), and I think it's the best way to protect the people.

P.S. I find drug use rather repulsive, but I find reliance in most scenarios rather repulsive, so it's not surprising.
