well, i kinda feel ashamed that i didnt properly finish the current vm logo on the server, so i made a new one :)

i still have the .psd so if u want to use it but want something like the colour change then it can be done :)

maybe if u could keep the text where it is etc and just make it bigger, perhaps on 512 wide? and maybe not black, err white? lol :-)

dark, i can use the ini to edit logo position, using that image means i have to convert to dds, put in a new package for every1 to download and edit INI, cant be assed, i will do it the easy way lol :-)

Hey all VM allies, and specially to creator of VM logo. It's nice above all the reflec effect pro work aspect.

I write to you because I need really help. I'm creating tPW logo, well the logo is created, but after of 53 attempts I can't create a format image file TGA Targa with transparency (TGA because Anni accorded me that he need TGA or DDS - I cant export/save as... in DDS from photoshop then I use TGA - format, In order that he could insert it in the server). The transparency is the problem, my base file logo is .psd = photoshop format file, I only can export/save as TGA Targa file, and when I do it and send TGA file to anni, he say me that the transparency doesn't work :-\, the background has acquired the opaque white, losing all shadow and light efects for readyablely. I take a month trying things and the logo already this done, damnnn!!

Experienced people can someone that I must do, or I can send the files, or what?
well, above all thx for read the message and I hope that some charitable soul or someone compassionate help me.

OOh yeah, really thx, I'll send u all file .psd format with intructions. Only you will have to turn the images in format adaptable for UT (DDS/TGA), and resize the logo as I read before here (quadratic, 128x512... that is "WTF" for me).

Here is your "simple" solution, i had the same problem, and this is how i did it :wink:

Go here and download the DDS converter
http://eliteforce2.filefront.com/file/DDS_Converter;29412
I havent tried it in vista, so u may need to run it in XP service pack 2 compatibility mode.:smile:
(i dont think DDS comes with photoshop by default but there is a downloadable plugin, but i couldnt get that to work)

Now if my memory is correct, save as a PNG in photoshop, then convert the file in DDS converter, then import into a new texture file.
In the "import texture" box in unreal-ed make sure "alpha channel" is ticked.

Finally right click ur image (in unreal ed) and click properties, then...
bAlpha Texture = true ...and
LODSet = LODSET_World (not 100% sure on these last 2 bits sorry :D)

And finally ad a bit of good luck and thats it :p:D
