Do you write (record) demos when playing clanwar? Or does server record it? I just never seen VCTF clan matches cannot find it anywhere :( ,
even at clanbase (they play TAM and iCTF last time :( ) Maybe if you play next clanwar please record demo. serveside is better because you can switch beteewn players and use free camera for spectating. Thx

Do you mean record a demo using the utcomp option?

Yes, also server-recorded demos (if possible)

And for good show, its even more interesting sometimes to see clanwar game than just play on pub server (where anarchy rule)

Yes, and any issues involving possible cheating can be resolved by looking at the recording.

server recorded demos will probably take up a lot of space :/ I think its best to use that space for other things, like new maps =)

Nope, actually cobalt i disagree with you, our servers are already full to the brim with 2/3's shit and 1/3 maps. Maybe if you clean up all the maps that no-one plays you can get a serverside demo :/

Just download the demo after you used it. Only use it during wars though. Making a demo of every pub match played will fill up your HD rapidly.

Anyway, in case you didn't know yet, the command to record a serverdemo: admin demorec waragainstsomeclan

Just do not forgot to start demo recording when you play clanwar, I do not know how to start serverside demo, maybe from webadmin.

By the way, for tose for do not know demo commands:

demorec DEMO_NAME

cool, so it would be "admin stopdemo" to finish demo rec serverside?
i'm sure i can have a play with this on server 2, workout how much space it takes up and use it on server 3 during our maps on the next war, i would like to see it to!

I think so, here's more info about it:

Correct. About the size of the demo: expect it to be 30 to 50 MB.

For those who don't know how to play them, make a Demo folder in your UT2004 directory, and place the files there.

Then if it doesent work after that make sure you have all the files needed to run the demo, e.g. maps textures etc.
Then if it still doesent work after that do what i do, bang your head loudly against the wall to annoy the next door neighbor :p
