New TAM / DM Server

I have too much money, so i rented a 10 slot public server.:D:D:D
It will be our new TAM / DM Server.

I was getting interested in Game-Servers today, because of looking where my lags came from.

I will post further info`s when the server is set up and ready for fragging.:p

Lol, well we already have a 20 slot tam server, but what the hell, we could always use spare servers :).

Yeah, VM4 is gone. Beamer took it offline, won't be coming back. VM5 might still come back, so you could make it the new VM4.

However, I hate the numbering system. We should start working with VM Trials, VM VCTF (possible #1 & #2) and VM TAM servers if you ask me. Peddy already started it, but his server is offline now. :p

It's just silly that our best servers are called VM 3 and 3 sister, like #1 and #2 would be even better. Only my personal opinion though. :redface:

lol, strangelove in deathmatch? there's barely any deemers in dm, and if there was, why would you want to sit on one? Strangelove is only good in onslaught.

maybe i`ll put on some normal ctf with strangelove and low grav later. This was very funny on UT`99. You know the map Bad Neighbours or Diamond Sword ?
But first it is a TAM/DM server. I pu some 1on1 Maps as well, because 1on1 is very much fun for me atm.

Well there isn't many redeemers in dm, and it would be extremely spammeh if redeemers replaced any of the standard weapons.

now i have a new hoster which is located directly in teliasonnera data center, which is one of the 3 big ip transit carriers in europe.
very low pings expected.
hope they will do it !

Servers costs differ depeding on company, how many slots you have and the quality of the line. I can get an american 16 slot server that would have about the same pings as tpw for about €7. Just google "unreal tournament servers europe" or something to see prices.

Because of the problems with diconnects , i asked my hoster to reinstall the server. It will be done at this moment,but it may take a bit time till it`s up and running !
i hope the problems dissapear then...
