Could we have FatJimmysRaceway taken off the server please?
Any time it gets voted, half the people leave the server and those who stay realize their mistake within 2 min and don't want to play it either.

Maybe others have some other suggestions regarding the map list too but this is the main one on my mind right now.

Well, let's share my objective (and brilliant!) point of view. The way everyone should be viewing this, imo.

Danny has a point about everyone leaving. It's like when Illusion gets voted and there's a couple of people that quit. Fatjimmys is far worse and there are a LOT of people that leave the server (temporarely?) because of it.
I love that we have decent maps on the server, and we're not like Rembo's that is filled with spammy maps, but people will choose Klinika over Fatjimmys.
Basically, I doubt people will choose to leave our server once they find out Fatjimmys ISN'T on the server... yet too many people (seem to) leave when it gets on.

But yeah, my lil rant is pointless anyway, since the majority seems to like the map. Fuck it. :o

And yes, I'd be awesome if the 'better' crowd (read: not just interested in spammy maps) could be drawn in. I dislike Rembo's for the spammy maps and the fact you can only do that in them. VM is going quickly behind them with stuff like Veniis (twice!) though.

Good point! Fatjimmys > Veniis. Still pisses me off that there's two versions of that map in our server, but yeah, brought that up a while back... These bastards love the map. :(

Its true though. :) If vehicles have no relevance to the map and are practically useless, then there is little point in having them. If they can make a difference at times is good enough. Atm that's only the hellbender on a rare occasion.

At the end of the day you all just need to man up and exept the fact that you will never like all the maps on our server. Everyones taste is different. i think we should just have every map ever made on the server....then its up to the votes. If its a shit map people wont vote it.

FO krav, it's true.
No one ever uses a vehicle in Starrz unless its skymine spam at flag. Other than that it's just "the one with the best aim wins" and ofc that turns you right on and you will defend it till the end but Starrz is purely a CTF map and you know it.

At beggining I didn't like Actioncity, Eire, Roadkill, Illusion etc, I was just DMing on it. But I got over it and now I can enjoy them and play them the way they have to be played. You should do the same.
People who rage at Starrz just forget UT is a FPS, which means you have to kill the ennemy by aiming skills, not fucking crushing him from behind.

Back to topic : I voted keep of course. No point in deleting this map, it's a classic. That's not like I enjoy it or vote for it, but it's one of these undeletable maps imo.

Maybe it's that Starrz has a bottleneck in the middle where it's practically impossible to get through without running into 9 out of 10 enemies, 300... that might be the reason people don't like it. Manta or no manta, VCTF or DM, I can't stand the freaking bottleneck and yet I love both hitscan and manta's.
