Yeah, and you buy a 585 bucks garbage, because many things are incompatible with each other.

LOL.

unless theres something your computers GOT TO HAVE (like a certain case ect.) just buy one and replace a couple parts. i bought a semi cheap hp crammed in a 650w psu and 260 gtx and i been good for a year.

Yee just leave it to Necc^

The day I want to build a computer I know who I will be talking to.
I wouldn't even bother looking at the list he made.. I'd just pass it on and get it ordered :D

In this case, warranty is gone, HP's 24/7 support is gone... and you wasted a huge money for this support, and it is wasted... congratz, excellent logic.

I've no idea witch prices are in the UK, and as far as i know building a PC in the UK from custom components is almost impossible, mostly whole PCs sold there.

Jay: you will suck after a year or half! Random and misterious crashes, rare and random data loss/damage... be prepared!

necc you are exactly right mate! In the UK it has acctually got better to buy a pre made system and knowing that all the components are compatible and made by a proffessional, i would have to save more than

first of all you make it sound like i spent alot of money which i clearly didnt or i wouldnt be replacing parts. secondly i dont need their support or i wouldnt be replacing parts in the first place. even having said that what are they going to do to prove i voided any warranty if i put in the old shitty parts it came with.

ps. ive already had it around 18 months so what the hell kind of warranty could i have left.

To visit a store and buy components isn't very common, since it wouldn't be very profitable for a PC shop to stock lots of components that won't be bought by the average consumer.

However, you can always have easy access to components from UK online retailers. Such as; http://www.ebuyer.com/store/Components
