Hey, just had some inspiration so I spent about 4 hours shelling this out and making it playable. :]

The idea is that all spawns are hidden up high and you drop down, collect weapons on the way and slide safely into the level. As such the level is based around the ramps that you have to dodge-jump to get up.

Keep in mind that this is still only an alpha, which means that it isn't meant to look good, just play well. :]
Would love to get some constructive criticism so make the map better before i put effort into making it look pretty. :D

I love your spawn start. Very exellent.

With a better lighting and few more textures, the map will become very good.
You are not far of the warsow style.

The elevator are too slow.

I wait the new opus.

The corridors and the size are not compatible with manta.
So. I don't think.

The map is more CTF than Vctf.

It looks like a nice map from the screenshots and description. Indeed it does have a Warsow feel to it, which appears to suit the map's layout well. :D

Mantas aren't a requirement for vCTF \o/

Like it! The rule is; if it takes more then 5 hours to block out a map it wont be fun, so you made it with a marigin. ;) I have 2 things to comment:

These corridors at the lower level should be a bit wider if possible, feels cramped:

Some of the ramps are sticky, probably because of CSG jerks. You could put a blocking volume just outside the bsp to fix it. Annoying when you get caught mid air:

Yeh ...new TDI is uber, so im thinking wormz will prob knock this new shell into a nice piece of arena

Had the same bug with the ramps a couple of times too but i had no idea how to fix it, was gonna wait for some experienced mappers to come put me in my place :D Will fix tonight.

Also I can make the corridors down low wider, sorta wanted the lower corridors to be spammier than the rest of the map but I do think that the parts on either side of the block facing the lift are too narrow.

Not sure about the elevator thing, anyone else think they are too slow? and which ones, the small ones or the big one?

And yeah, no mantas :> they wouldn't really fit in a map like this tbh, not exactly the size of fatjimmy's or the spammyness of house :p

there are too slow.
Otherwise, you risk breaking the momentum

Its on the private server at the mo, I like it man, only thing i noticed that wasn't mentioned was that one of the benders spawned upside down LMAO?! Perhaps its just an "online bug"?

Indeed, I wasn't sure if it was meant to be like that or not, was quite funny, perhaps there should be an upside down scorp somewhere up high that you can turn over and it falls on people looool :)
