Dudes, I had a chat with "vapor" from CTC, and if you guys are up for a war, this is what he said ;)

Scrim with CTC
Talked to some other ctc people and were interested in a scrimmage with you. We were thinkin maybe doing 4 rounds 2 on your server and 2 on ours to even out the ping issues for both sides.

I was thinkin a good time would be a weekend around 19:00 GMT give or take a little bit.... so it would be around midday in US and evening over there.

i played rarely on their server. bad ping for me. rly baaad xD

yeah but even with 200 ping they use netcode, so it is "doable" :-) and yes 2 on ours 2 on theirs

High ping with netcode means that aim with enh.netcoded parts of the game is not a problem (aiming with shock, LG) but the other parts of the game (movements, ignored packets (person on the mantas wing simply dropdown without any reason, ignored movements (dodges), ignored shoots), fucking movement-corrigations (try to park with a hellbender on the flag), aim, horrible shoot delays, errors caused by netcode (you walk on the map as a dead player for a few seconds sometime), delayed or ignored weapon (locker) pickups) make it horrible!
So don't you just think that "Aahhh they got enhanced netcode, now everything will befine!".
I played more then a year with constant 96-140 ping because i got a crappy net, so this kind of playing is ignorant for me, also i can play with high ping, but i guess most of us simply can't.

I think it's actually easier to aim with high ping + netcode than with normal ping (or normal ping + netcode). I can hit everything on their server, I can do combos too, but spam weapons and vehicles have a very bad delay.

yeah, on foot, its good, but in vehicles, like mantaruns... no way... you can, but it's too hard with 200+ ping

well i did more than few times (even kraven) successfull mantaruns. Its all about predicting. and I agree Kraven - aiming it's waaaaaaaaay easier with 200 ping (ofc only shock, lg)

PS. I play on CTC almost everyday (35% on ctc , 65% on VM of my gaming) and server is really good (located in Dallas)

i would love to play, but with this new GAY-OL internet thing im averaging 150+ ping on VM3 and a shit load of packetloss...so fuck knows what it would be like across the pond!

but I'm sort of like the back up squad :D I still am short of time. But I will play from time to time and if needed play some wars with you guys. My skill are really rusty but I still pack quite a punch :smile:
